It’s a great gas gun, and the clip holds a good gas charge. But as far as the actual functionality of the gun and it’s realism, it’s quite poor. No locking slide, no decocker (it’s there, but it’s a safety), and no pull-back firing hammer. Just point and shoot. Great for airsoft enthusiasts, but not good for replica hunters like myself.

when i bought this gun i was looking for a good side arm for a sniper. this is not a super high qualitry gas pistol but it works pretty good. if you frequently have wars with alot of people they are great because they hardly use any gas. They shoot pretty strait. they dont have enough hop up but they still work pretty well. its reasonably durable cause i dropped mine like 10 times and is hasn’t broken (twice i dropped it on concrete).

Well this gun is great. It shoots straight and fast, 290-300 FPS, and it holds 15 or so rounds.

The only down-side to this gun is that the gas is easy to release during play- all you have to do is push the hammer in a little bit and all of the gas in the mag will release.

Also, it can fire three ways- you can slide it back to cock it, or you can pull back the hammer to cock it, or you can just pull the trigger without cocking it, making it a semi-automatic gun.

i just got the gun yesterday and overall its a great deal for you money. It shoots pretty accurate for its price I went up to a football field right by my house and its ideal range is 35-40 yards which is great for a semi auto. If you want a better idea of how it shoots it shoots inbetween the performance of a m14 springer and a black eagle m6 bolt action spring rifle. The co2 last a good while i was able to get 7-8 clips off before it started to effect anything. The only con I have with the gun which is why i didn’t give it 5 stars was the magazine. The design isn’t really that great you pull down the spring, hold down the bottom of it, and then load it from the bottom which is kinda hassel. Also it only holds 15 rounds which doesn’t seem bad but it goes by fast, plus it cost $15 for a spare one which i have no problem with but there nothing special about it to make it that price all it is is a thin long magazine its not like the co2 goes in the clip like most co2 guns. Overall i was pretty impressed with the price and performance i would recommend it to anyone if you do buy this gun i would recommend getting a extra clip and buying at least .2 bbs or .25 if you want to give up some range for accuracy

This item shoots very far and with great accuracy. I would not recommend this gun to beginners or people who don’t want to be shot with it. it hurts but I think that it’s good that it gurts so you know when your hit. I love this gun and the fact that it’s co2 and lasts very long.

This gun is solid, feels great, is mechanically sound and shoots straight and hard with .25 bbs. I LOVE this gun. It would be good to have an extra clip (clip holds 17 + the CO2 cartridge) but I haven’t found one yet. The only downside is CO2 guns don’t work so well when it’s cold, and it’s COLD here now. Keep it in a warm place, empty the mag, and put it back in a warm place (when using in the field). Edit on 1/22/09: Tippmann is out of the airsoft business, so no extra clips are available from them.

This gun took about 2 weeks to come, but it was worth to wait. This gun easily shoots through plastic from 50 feet away. Very accurate, if u adjust the hopup. It is about 2 pounds and is full metal as says. Great secondary

i hate this gun. i got it, and it shot 30 ft and went straight down. it has a small mag, and i fired it upside down. it broke. this gun sucks

This is a very nice gun. It has the feel of a real pistol and performs like one too. it is very fast and shoots very hard. the only down side is it take some time to reload, even with a speedloader. but all in all this guns is AWSOME!!!!!!

  • 11 Coleman

the gun is pretty acurate and has a good 380 fps. if u want a good cheap pistol get this one. it has an 18 shot clip, co2 lasts for about 7 or 8 full clips.use .20 gram bbs because .12 has very bad acuacy if u want to u could try .23 gram it might work better but i havent tried it yet it also has an intimidating sound when u fire it. not thats relivant.

I had read a number of reviews and been interested in this pistol, but a little put off by the price. When I found it for under $50.00 I decided to take the plunge. Glad I did, this is a great little gun.

The pistol is an exact copy of the S&W Sigma pistol with one huge exception, the magazine. This magazine hangs well below the grip. It is a forty round extended magazine. The look can be off-putting initially. However, form does follow function.

The pistol has a plastic frame and an aluminum slide. The sights, the slide release and the magazine release are exactly like the real steel pistol. The pistol disassembles just like the real steel and even has a fake outer barrel with faux locking lugs.

The pistol is easy to disassemble and thank goodness because that is the only way to reach the hop-up. The hop-up requires a fair amount of adjustment, but once it’s set it is set for life.

To shoot the pistol you use the provided tool to take the bottom plug out of the CO2 portion of the magazine. You place a 12 gram CO2 cartridge in the hole, put in the plug and screw it tight, but not too tight. Always put a little silicon lube on the top of the cartridge to lube the seals. The CO2 cartridge fits in the rear of the magazine. The bbs fit in the front. The pistol holds 39 pellets. To load you pull down the follower with your finger and load.

The magazine has caused the only problem I’ve had with the pistol. The rear of the magazine held the follower up and the spring would not push bbs into the pistol. I lubed the magazine, left it overnight and no problems.

Put the magazine in the pistol, rack the slide and you’re ready to go. The pistol is a gas blowback and kicks about like a light .22 pistol. It is much less loud than a .22, but still makes a pop. The accuracy is not great, but the fun level is very high. At 21 feet I can generally keep 39 shots in a six inch circle. Not great by any stretch, fine for plinking. The pistol can be emptied as fast as you can squeeze the trigger. I get 60 to 80 shots per CO2 cartridge. Again, not great but a lot of fun.

I highly recommend this pistol. It is sturdy, realistic and fun to shoot.
